Brian has been in the landscape industry since 1975. He is a member of Washington Association of Landscape Professionals (WALP), and a Master Gardener. In the early 1980′s he won the 1st place pruning award at Magnolia Garden Center in Seattle, WA. He has been featured in the Everett Herald. His expertise is design, installation, renovation, and pruning. With quality customer care as a priority, he is known for quickly turning customers into friends.
Along with his son, Stefan, owner of SimplyRocks, he also owns SimplyTerra, a company formed to help homeowners save money and successfully create beautiful landscapes themselves.
Patti is responsible for the administrative and marketing areas of the business. Fondly referred to by Brian as “The Brains”, Patti takes care of everything behind the scenes. She also is a Certified Public Bookkeeper and works part-time for Lodestar Company, Inc., a heating and air conditioning company located in Lynnwood, WA. She is an entrepreneur at heart and is currently writing a book about mission oriented entrepreneurs and is developing Business On A Mission to highlight and support them.
They have two adult children and three adorable grandchildren who they spend as much time with as possible. They love to travel (not getting enough of it) and ballroom dance.
Eli and Jesse Hemlinger

Growing up on a farm in the Midwest, Eli and Jesse are brothers who migrated out to the Pacific Northwest about three years ago. Eli is married to Shareyah and they have one son. They are hard workers, polite, and our customers love them. They are currently studying to become Landscape Industry Certified Technicians. In their spare time they love to play music. It cannot be said often enough (which it probably isn’t!) but without Eli and Jesse Sunset Landscape and Design could not possibly be the company it aspires to be. Eli and Jesse form the foundation of the daily operations and put into the practice the soul of the company.
JoLynne Leitze-Abbe
JoLynne Leitze-Abbe is our part-time administrative assistant. Not only does she make sure that administrative tasks are taken care of in a detailed and timely manner, she does so with a great sense of humor. She is also a Licensed Massage Therapist and at the N. Shore YMCA and her private office near Maltby. She resides in the Snohomish area with husband Tom. JoLynne enjoys golf, gardening, canning, cooking, and reading. With her degree in Physical Education she works with individuals and clients to understand self care.
